Welcome! My name is Adam and I am the drawer and hero of this comic. Since the age of 2, after an accident, I’ve been confined to a wheelchair leading to my different perspective on life. I’m currently attending K-State University and majoring in Accounting, which I have been told is a little weird considering my love of art and drawing. Currently, I haven’t taken any art classes, as you can probably tell. This is mostly because 1) Art classes take up 9 hours a week and are only worth 3 credits, 2) I see that art students have to carry around HUGE sketch pads, and 3) I don’t want to draw naked people. When it comes to design I'm just going by trial and error, trying to get a feel for what I like or trying to imitate what I liked from a comic I read, so don't be surprised if my characters take a sudden art shift.

The name Permanently Seated is my homage to a show called Pelswick, which was a short lived cartoon about a boy in a wheelchair.

I started this comic because I noticed that there wasn’t much handicapped humor on the internet, without being raunchy, and because I needed an outlet for the ‘lame’ jokes I’d accumulated over my years. Not really sure where I'm going to go with this, so it's really just a work in progress.
